There are so many ways you can get involved in the fight against child abuse in San Antonio. Below are just a few organizations to start with, and will continue to list more. Whether you want to donate time or money, your contribution will make a difference.

I welcome any organization that would like to be included on this list to please contact Rachel Johnston via email.

Alamo Children's Advocacy Center

At Alamo Children's Advocacy Center, we ensure the coordination of appropriate and thorough investigation of sexual abuse cases with both public and private agencies. We provide crisis intervention and on going counseling, public education and professional training. We act as an advocate for the child & family during the investigative process and provide child sensitive medical evaluations.

Southwest Mental Health Center

Southwest Mental Health Center

We help children, adolescents and families overcome the disabling effects of mental illness, and improve their ability to function at home, at school and in the community. Children who are exposed to violence, abuse, neglect or loss of loved ones are more at risk for mental health problems. Working together, we can change lives...and save lives.
